Supporting Industry Education
At Jewellery Advisory Services (JAS), integrity and impartiality guide everything we do. While we occasionally collaborate with auction houses that offer "finder’s fees" or commissions, we maintain a strict policy of declining such payments. This allows us to provide unbiased, independent advice that serves our clients' best interests.
If an auction house applies a commission for items we refer, we pass the entire amount directly to our clients, ensuring full transparency. In keeping with our commitment to fostering industry growth, we encourage auction houses and partners to consider making a voluntary donation to the National Association of Jewellers Educational Trust (Charity No. 1040651) instead.
Established in 1994, the Trust supports the development of jewellery professionals through bursaries, awards, and work experience programmes. Donations help fund educational initiatives, ensuring the continued success of the jewellery trade. While these contributions are entirely optional, they play a crucial role in strengthening the industry’s future.
